Last Friday the Tsugaru Sister City Association held a lottery drawing to pick the final four lucky travelers bound for Bath this summer! Tsugaru saw an unprecedented 42 applications come in this year, but the participant cap for travelers is set at 18 students. With 14 9th graders already confirmed, all that was left was to gather everyone together and draw four names to fill out our roster. This is the first year a lottery has ever been held for the program, but hopefully we’ll see another enthusiastic turnout for next year’s program!
